I’ve finally sat down to begin writing about my healing journey. I am continually searching and exploring new methods, experiencing and navigating through different situations and being a writer it just makes sense to document.
To begin, I was introduced to alternative healing methods like acupuncture, chiropractic and massage by way of a job. I had a friend recommend a position and from there I became fully engulfed in learning about the benefits of those, and many more modalities. Fast-forward to today and I have a slew of tools to keep me growing, going and grounded. I enlist all parts of myself when healing and looking to solve an issue because it takes all of me, mental, physical and spiritual. For example, my skin has always caused me problems, I’ve gone gluten free, dairy free, Whole 30, the works, and the moment I strayed I would have a horrible flair up. I’m now seeing that it wasn’t just my gut that was off, it was my emotional body, my inability to digest feelings, the restrictions on my mind causing me to just binge at the first chance I got and essentially not loving the very body I was in. Like I said, I am still in the process of many of these healings and I’m excited to see where they continue to take me. Once a week I’ll dive deeper into each of my current resources, and some specific situations that I’m healing through, so if you feel so inclined to continue tuning in, you will be getting the full gambit of my experiences.
I want to mention that I am of course not a medical professional and do not claim that these are the sure fire ways to go about healing, but instead I am just here to share what I have learned and gone through. All of our bodies are so different, but the more I am learning, the more I see that within our selves everything is connected, and that is something we all share. So every Wednesday from now until I run out of things to talk about, I’ll release a new article talking about healing in some sort of form and hopefully some guest interviews as well!
